I think for the real die hard wrtj fans it's going to be a real pisser when the series is over. It would be complete blasphemy to kill off such fantastic characters after the 80 episodes which probably in total adds up to only circa 4/5 hours of material.

Are there any plans whatsoever in the offing to possibly extend this or to maybe find some other medium/method of keeping them going.

How long's this meant to go on for? I can't see 80 episodes anywhere on the site?

As far as I am aware they are stopping after 80, I think that is how many Ford are funding.

Ian and Dawn could always shop around for a new sponsor. I hear Skoda and Daewoo are in the market for a groundbreaking dotcomedy.

lol - well i can think of worse fates.

- however it would be cool if they got a massive sponsorship that took them all over the world. or a similar project that took the characters all over the world. it could also work as a drama i think, a sort of adventure thing. or a comedy version of indiana jones would be fun.
might be nice to have a little quest in there as well.

as for ian and dawn - If somebody leaves everything in their Will to thier family… Dawn and ian might just think that that should have been them, considering they are thier real family!
